The H7HT proudly announces a second boat joining the fleet. First it was Cliffy and his fishing machine and now the Idaho chapter has a boat too. This one will be dedicated to slaying.
You are looking at a 1970 Hewes Craft 12' aluminum boat made sometime in the 70's with a very sturdy homemade trailer. The Slavic chap that sold it to me had removed the bench seats and built elevated seats with tons of storage and a platform in the front for Peat. I am now in the process of stripping down both boat and trailer for their new paint job. The boat will retain the seating arrangement with a few tweaks for slaying and both will get a custom paint jobs after a good cleaning.
Next on the list is a motor and perhaps a truck to pull it with. In the first photo you can see Big Betty is still waiting for the nice man from Montana to come and get her and give me some cash money to further the dream of boat ownership.
