This is Luther.

He is not yet a H7HT member.

He went fishing the other day.

It's a Steelhead I think. 29"

It's OK, I'm still a better hunter than he is.

But boy can he sell socks!

Nice job Luther.

Things in my neighborhood.

Downtown Kellogg:
Sure times are tough but I'm confident that the Police station and Library will soon be open again. Just as soon as the Census 2010 money comes rolling in.....

Actually these are images from the Hecla Mine just down the road a piece outside of Burke, ID. It's now a ghost town and sports some amazing old infrastructure including a townsite and many old homes that lined the canyon down to the valley. Silver and Lead Ore came from the mine and it was part of a huge labor rebellion back in the day that took federal troops to settle but not before the miners burned part of the operation down. Now it is just like you see here, a bunch of creepy old buildings and ruins. Cool eh?

Where Was the Ghost of Lenny Bias Today?

I guess Lenny Bias's ghost was to busy doing crack cocaine.

A new find.....

Guess what I found while looking under the kitchen sink in the new cabin? It turns out we have a full basement complete with a giant vault. Even better, it's loaded with guns already! Imagine my surprise when I opened the cellar door. I was lead to believe that there was only a concrete slab that the cabin sits on, not a giant vault. The military theme to the contents leads me to believe that my cabin was somehow a hub for the U.S. Resistance Army that protected us from the 30's / 40's invasion of Green headed Mallards form Canada. ( Note the machine guns, especially useful against the Ninja Mallards )

Actually these pictures come to us from the Brother. He claims that this is the very same gun room owned by the Late Great Charlton Heston. Of course Heston's gun room would have only the finest weapons and I'm sure he had many more such vaults hidden throughout his property. In them he must have stored the collective knowledge of the universe, knowledge he used to keep us protected from enemies Foreign and Domestic. Thank you Lord Heston and thanks to the Brother for bringing this to our attention. I will start construction on my Gun Vault soon, very soon.

I don't understand the meaning of this. There are tables purely for folding?

New Digs

Sorry folks it's been a while since I have made a post to the H7HT Blog but lots of things have been happening in the great state of Idaho in the last few weeks. The most important of which has been the addition of a new home for the DaFolder family. Wells Fargo has made a healthy sized mistake and guaranteed a loan for a new Log Cabin. It's made of logs! Thanks Wells Fargo, I knew somehow having Flemke work there would warp your views on lending. Anyway the move is complete and years of remodeling and yard projects await.

I am posting a couple pictures of the cabin. One of the exterior and one of the logs on the inside of the cabin. If you squint real hard the outside looks just like the one you built out of Lincoln Logs as a kid! The inside one is to show how the logs looked before we painted them mauve and bright yellow, a color combination all the best homes are using today. Thanks in advance for the housewarming gifts. Just send them to:

Cool ass Log Cabin
Idaho.

I'll be posting more soon now that the interweb is hooked up and as I explore my new surroundings. Thanks to Fred G. and his inform
ational piece on cooking things that grow in poo. I hear the offers from ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, The Food Network and the Pay per View Porn channel have been pouring in. Good luck with that decision. Of course I wonder what our old friend Cliffy has been up to? We all know his posting rights were granted this season and I'm sure he has a story or two for us. What gives Cliffy?
