31 days and counting
It's been a while since the last postings from us at the HOY7 Hunting Team. Cliffy had Ebola, Fred G with the nightmare of 'screaming turbos' and me stuck in mud season made for little to post about recently. But all that's about to change. It's only one thin month form the annual H7HT fishing trip down the mighty Dechutes river. This year promises to be better than ever. Why? Because we said so.
In the years past team members have been plagued by the lack of catching fish, sleep apnea, cold propane that refused to light, too few BBs for the BB gun, callous road signage, bad hair, hangovers and all sorts of other maladies. This year is going to be great! So stay tuned to

Early waterfowl biologists called the Prairie Pothole Region of the United States and Canada the "Duck Factory" because of its incredible productivity for breeding waterfowl. Dotted with millions of small "pothole" wetlands, this region remains this continent's most important waterfowl breeding ground. In especially wetland-rich areas, duck breeding densities can exceed 100 pairs per square mile.
